Daniels to celebrate 50th anniversary

Posted: Friday, April 24, 2015 3:13 pm Dennis and Med Daniels celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on April 24th. The couple was married in Mount Pleasant, in 1965. The couple has four children. Their children are Kimberly (Rogelio) Gonzalez, Dennis (Cindi) Daniels, Shane (Lanell) Daniels and Misti (Kaleb) Moss. The couple has 20 grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren. The couple has resided in Mount Pleasant where Dennis Daniels has been employed with Flour Corporation for 30 plus years and Med Daniels has been the executive director of The Pittsburg Housing Authority for the past 20 plus years. Dennis is the son of Mount Pleasant natives Carl and Naomi Daniels. Med is the daughter of Talco natives Howard and Faye Brown.

Henry Stanley and his wife, Effie, observed their fiftieth wedding anniversary on 25 December 1972, and this this memorial occasion was announced in the Natchez Democrat on page 8c of the Sunday, December 17th, 1972 issue:

Roxie--Mr. and Mrs. Henry Stanley Harrigill of Roxie, will honored ny their children upon the occasion of their 50th anniversary Christmas day.

The couple had 10 children, 35 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. The children who will sponsor the open house at their parent's home 2-5 p.m. Dec. 25, are Edward Harrigill, Marie Mullins, Willie Harrigill, and Josie Oliver, all of Roxie; Henrietta Felter, Irene Jones, Bettie Sanders and Claude Harrigill all of Natchez; Henry W. Harrigill of McNair and Pauline Rissell of Monticello.
